Psalms 106:34-41

34They adid not destroy the peoples,
As bthe Lord commanded them,
35But cthey mingled with the nations
And learned their
Lit works
practices,
36And eserved their idols,
fWhich became a snare to them.
37They even gsacrificed their sons and their daughters to the hdemons,
38And shed iinnocent blood,
The blood of their jsons and their daughters,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
And the land was kpolluted with the blood.
39Thus they became lunclean in their
Lit works
practices,
And nplayed the harlot in their deeds.

40Therefore the oanger of the Lord was kindled against His people
And He pabhorred His
I.e. people
,
rinheritance.
41Then sHe gave them into the hand of the
Or Gentiles
nations,
And those who hated them ruled over them.
