Psalms 106:34-41

34 They ^adid not destroy the peoples,
As ^bthe Lord commanded them,
35 But ^cthey mingled with the nations
And learned their ^{▼▼ Lit works}practices,
36 And ^eserved their idols,
^fWhich became a snare to them.
37 They even ^gsacrificed their sons and their daughters to the ^hdemons,
38 And shed ⁱinnocent blood,
The blood of their ^jsons and their daughters,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
And the land was ^kpolluted with the blood.
39 Thus they became ^lunclean in their ^{▼▼ Lit works}practices,
And ⁿplayed the harlot in their deeds.

40 Therefore the ^oanger of the Lord was kindled against His people
And He ^pabhorred His ^{▼▼ I.e. people
,} ^rinheritance.
41 Then ^sHe gave them into the hand of the ^{▼▼ Or Gentiles}nations,
And those who hated them ruled over them.
